Today's letter comes from Benny McRae of Palo Alto, California:

"I don't like how the frog sometimes wins and the penguin also sometimes wins. It should be like Coyote and Road Runner, where the Coyote never wins (and the Road Runner always wins). Just the frog or just the penguin should win."

Thanks for writing, Benny! The penguin and the frog have had many arguments with our writing staff over who would throw the bomb at whom. The writers finally gave up and told the two of them it was up to them to decide. The frog suggested rock-paper-scissors, which, strangely enough, the penguin agreed to, despite the fact that, having no fingers, he can only throw paper.

The day of the contest arrived, but the frog had accidentally spilled superglue all over his hands...

...and could only throw rock.

The frog later pleaded with the penguin to let him come out on top in at least a few episodes. The penguin flatly refused, reminding the frog he had won the previous rock-paper-scissors challenge. The frog demanded a rematch, and the penguin, not being one to back down, again accepted.

With the renewed use of all three fingers, the frog threw scissors three times in a row, a gutsy maneuver also known as the "Toolbox" according to www.worldrps.com. Thus the frog won back some of his dignity, as well as the right to not get blown up in some Frog and Penguin Comics.
